{A little Update}

Ugh.
The past week has been
long.
And kinda awful.

Trav's pain got pretty unbearable
for a few days
leaving us,
and him especially,
living in a fog.

He hasn't been back to work
since last week
and we have watched
a really gross
amount of TV.

He's having the same rib
pain, night sweats-giving me
a great opportunity to make
male menopause jokes,
and has absolutely NO
appetite.

I'm not gonna lie.
It's been an awfully hard week.

I'm very confused as to why
the pain just all of the sudden
started, and just plain sick of it!

Our hope was that it would go
away this week.
And while the pain has
lessened a bit,
he still feels very tight.
It makes it very hard for him
to sleep and he doesn't move
around a whole lot.

Tomorrow he is going to
get a CT scan so we can see
where the problem lies.

I'm praying that the cancer
hasn't spread, and this is just
another fluke in the story of Trav's cancer.
He's had plenty!

We've been in awe of
how well taken care of we have been.
Like seriously people,
stop feeding us so much!
Your gonna have to roll me around soon!

We are both sooo grateful!
It seems that with everyone taking
such good care of us we are able
to focus on making the girls
lives 'normal'.

Thank you to all.
Really, lots.

I'll keep you all posted on results.
Hoping to have them Thursday.

I wish I was there to help in some way. :) I know there are plenty of things other than food that can help. Keep us posted! Prayers for you and the fam!

Oh Hay ... my heart aches for you. I know how you feel helpless about the pain. I am so sorry ... if you ever need to chat with someone that somewhat gets it, I am here. Miss seeing ya!

I feel bad I can't help you from here, well unless you want to send your girls out for a trip to Disneyland ;). You and your husband are so strong in many ways and such an example. If there ever is anything I can do, never hesitate to ask. My prayers are with you. Keep us posted!

Pain sucks! But that. . . . . . . . that's gotta REALLY suck!!! As always, words just cannot express how I admire, and adore, the two of you. So I won't try. Cuz my attempt would be futile.

Love,
Me

Oh Hay I am so grateful to hear that you are so well taken care of and loved up there. Sending prayers is all I can do, but they are sent with a whole lot of love and concern. And a huge dose of faith. Loves.

Thinking of you and praying for you. I am so sorry that Travis is in so much pain. When Dennis was going through chemo and at his worst, I was told by a dear friend that it is harder for the care giver to see the suffering of the one they love than anyone will every imagine. I am so sorry that you have to watch him be in such pain. I just want you to know you are loved, really loved!
