Welcome...

to the Cancer blog. Hopefully I will be better about updating on how he is doing here!

For the Last few weeks Trav's rib has been hurting pretty badly, making him pretty miserable. He did discuss it with the Doc. and he told us just to watch it and if it seems to get worse we will do another scan. His rib has gone through stages where it aches pretty bad and then the ache goes away, so we are hoping that is what happens this time!

The cankers have returned...sadly enough, and his mouth and tongue are swollen. So right now he isn't feeling top notch. His mouth has been doing really good till the last few treatments, so hopefully he will return to that state again soon.

Other then the same old crappy cankers and sore rib, he is doing pretty good. I always feel so blessed that his attitude is so good. He really is amazing to me!

Thanks for checking in!

Hayley, your awesome. Travis sounds like such a cool guy, if that were happening to me I would be the biggest baby about it.

I think your blog for your husband is a good idea. I've always wondered exactly what the situation is, and it helped me to understand by reading what you wrote. You two are pretty amazing about this whole situation you deserve to be blessed I think of your family often and include you in my prayers. Take Care.

What a good idea, although I love searching through your posts of your darling girls. I am always wondering how things are going for you guys, but don't have the heart to bring it up. Sometimes it is wonderful to be consumed in the little things of the day and be able to forget, without it being brought up. I have always loved the concept of blogging for that. Everyone you love can be kept informed without having to talk about it a hundred times over. You are in our prayers always!

HAYLEY, I HAD NO IDEA THE TRIALS YOUR FAMILY IS FACING. MY HEART ACHES FOR YOU AND YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE IN MY PRAYS. WE HAVE HAD OUR OWN FAMILY TRIAL AS WELL AND I KNOW HOW IMPORTENT PRAY IS. MY SISTER HOLLY'S LITTLE BABY BOY WHO IS NOW 1 1/2 IS WAITING FOR A LIVER TRANSPLANT. IT'S HARD TO BELIVE THAT THESE THINGS HAPPEN BUT, I KNOW FROM EASTEN THAT THESE TRAILS ARE SENT TO US FOR A REASON AND WE WILL ENDURE THEM AND BE BLESSED. I HOPE ALL IS WELL AND I WILL BE LOOKING IN ON YOUR BLOG FOR UPDATES.
